Nylink is pleased to offer a discount on documents ordered from CISTI, the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information.
CISTI is a world-class information resource for scientific, technical, medical and agricultural books, journal articles, conference papers and reports.
Nylink members are eligible to receive a discount ranging from 5% to 10% on on materials ordered from CISTI's Document Delivery Service. Libraries must register to use CISTI, who will assign your library a client ID number. Once you have registered, materials ordered from CISTI may be billed in one of two ways:
- Interlibrary Loan Fee Management - To use Interlibrary Loan Fee Management (IFM), enter IFM information in the MAXCOST field. CISTI will respond by entering IFM information in the LENDING CHARGERS field and you will be debited for materials ordered. IFM transactions will receive a discount of 10 percent.
- Nylink Invoice - If you prefer to be billed through the Network, do not include IFM information in your MAXCOST field. Charges for materials ordered from CISTI will appear on you monthly Nylink bill. Orders billed through Nylink will receive a 5 percent discount off CISTI's standard price.
