ABC-CLIO/Greenwood

Reference publishers ABC-CLIO and Greenwood Publishing joined forces in 2008, and as a result, offer many complementary online databases in history and social studies as well reader's advisory and reference review resources.

ABC-CLIO/Greenwood's e-resources support middle school, high school and college curricula, and accommodate the interests of public library patrons, too. Of particular note, Greenwood's Pop Culture Universe was honored in 2009 as the first electronic recipient of the Dartmouth Medal, awarded by ALA's Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) to recognize the most outstanding and significant reference work of the year.
